What is real here.
This page asks the server what it is doing and shows the answer as it came back. Every part is REAL, SIM or NOT YET, with the one line that says why. Nothing sits in between.
It reports what the server knows about itself. It is not an audit: it cannot prove a chain read is right, only say where it came from and how old it is.

REAL runs now on real data or real code anyone can check. SIM is a simulation or a fictional example and says so where it appears. NOT YET is not built, or waiting for a step that is not this program's to take.
Where the numbers come from.
Only the server calls these, never your browser. A feed that is not in use says so. A feed that fails shows as stale or unavailable with its age, and nothing is invented to fill the gap.
Do not take this page on trust.
Each part of it can be checked without asking anyone.
- Open /api/status. It is the same answer as plain data, and every line on this page is one field of it.
- Open the ledger and press verify. Your browser recomputes every SHA-256 link itself, so the head hash shown above is one you can reproduce.
- In the public code, scripts/smoke-live.mjs runs read-only checks against a live copy of this site, and tests/status.test.mjs fails if this panel and the server ever disagree.
